#91311 QUANTOFIX® Nitrite |
These test strips are for the rapid and reliable determination of Nitrite in solutions. The easy dip-and-read-procedure provides a reliable result within 1 minute. Nitrite is a contamination indicator and therefore an important parameter that is tested regularly in a wide variety of settings. To determine the nitrite concentration, very often nitrite test strips are used. QUANTOFIX® nitrite test strips are the ideal choice to check nitrite levels quickly and easily. |

#91322 QUANTOFIX® Nitrite 3000 |
This test strip is for the rapid and reliable determination of Nitrate and Nitrite in solutions. The easy dip-and-read-procedure provides a reliable result within 1 minute. Nitrite is an undesired byproduct in cooling lubricants. It allows the formation of carcinogenic compounds. Cooling lubricants are therefore regularly tested for Nitrite. In natural and drinking water Nitrite can lead to infant mortality and dead aquatic life. The EPA primary drinking water standard is 1 mg/L. |

#931044 VISOCOLOR®ECO Nitrite |
In acidic solution sulphanilic acid or sulphanilamide are diazotised with nitrite. The diazonium salt is then coupled with an aromatic amine, forming an intensely coloured azo dye. Organic colloids, chlorine, humic acids and coloured heavy metal ions interfere. |

#P-100A Potassium Iodide Starch Paper with Adhesive Dot for Waste Analysis |
Precise knowledge of the material composition or contaminant content of waste is often required to dispose of it safely and in accordance with local regulations, and to avoid dangerous expostulations by HAZMAT teams. Test papers provide this knowledge easily and reliably. Qualitative analysis determines the composition and extent of contamination and therefore attempts to identify the constituents, i.e. to prove what type of compound a particular constituent is made up of. Based on the test results, environmental protection, occupational health and safety measures are initiated. |
